CAMPGROUND AREA

Our public pool is open Memorial Day until Labor Day 12PM to 5PM. We staff our pool with American Red Cross certified lifeguards everyday. The Toe River Pool is available for rental for pool parties, lifeguards will be provided. Reservations can be made by contacting us during store ours.

Pool Entry Fee: $5 daily for all ages.

Pool Parties are only offered from 5:30 to 7:30. $75.00 per hour.

**Entry fee to the pool is NOT included in camping fees.**
 

The perfect rustic venue for any special event. Hoot Owl Hall is one of the most sought after locations in Yancey County for events ranging from weddings, receptions, reunions, birthday parties, wedding and baby showers, and church functions. 

Hoot Owl Hall is only available with a reservation and is only available during campground store hours.

Rate: $300.00 for all day. NO HALF DAY RENTALS. We do offer a wedding special for 2 full days for $500.00
 

The pavilion is a covered picnic area located in the campground adjacent to the playground. It has 8 picnic tables with 2 charcoal grills available for use. This pavilion is a perfect location for birthday parties and smaller gatherings. 

Available for use with a reservation.

Rates:$50.00 for 8 hours / $25.00 for 4 hours

In the Toe River General Store we provide inner tube rentals. Tube rentals are $10 per tube for the entire day. All tubes must be returned 1 hour prior to closing.

In 2012 we were generously donated the time, money, supplies, and the personnel to design and build a handicap ramp to allow for everyone to be able to access the Toe River. Our ramp was provided by incredibly generous members of our community to benefit and aid Camp Funshine which is held annually at the Toe River Campground.
 

As a NC Wildlife Licensing to agent we are able to provide valid North Carolina Fishing and Hunting Licensure. We have hatchery supported waters during our peak season. Patience Park is open to the public for any fishing experience desired.
 

Our game room has entertainment for all ages including a variety of arcade games, air hockey, two pool tables. Our shaded, riverfront game room with deck over looking the Toe River creates a blend of nature and technology. Game Room Hours are the same as the store hours.
 

For those who would love a day to relax without camping we have many picnic tables, including wheelchair accessible tables, that are open to the public and are readily available. 

The campground store is stocked with a variety of different items:
